Restoring and Rebuilding Lives and Properties

Rebuild South West is a unique CIC run by Ex Military personnel working with a wide array of individuals to restore livesrebuild properties, and directly work towards social improvement.

Activities range from tailored coaching courses for local authorities and organisations, through to ambitious full scale renovation and rebuild projects empowering individuals with new skills and life changing experiences.

From the ex-service community to the long term unemployed, we can help to turn lives around with rewarding, practical and motivational projects.

We have a strong team of skilled tradespeople who provide careful Project Management, renovation work and encompassing training expertise to support education, training and development as well as offering their experience in delivering new safe and affordable accommodation.

The social and financial impact that can be achieved by the renovation of just one empty house or flat is immense for so many.

Our Rebuild Projects

Rebuild South West is as much about rebuilding people as it is about the properties. When we acquire a site we aim to form teams of unemployed with Ex forces personnel and skilled tradespeople and provide apprenticeship and recognised mentoring schemes across a raft of construction trades.

empty homes in the UK

According to latest figures there are an estimated 870,000 empty homes in the UK and enough empty commercial property to create 420,000 new homes. In Cornwall alone the figures stack up to around 23,000, so it is no surprise that communities and local businesses are suffering from the demise and lack of life beautiful and once thriving market towns.

For us we believe that the re-emergence of some of this accommodation would not only ease the Councils housing costs but more importantly allow those concerned to start laying down some roots and allowing them to start moving their lives forward.
