Today saw the end of another Rebuild and Reach two week course for our latest group of attendees.
RSW were approached to transform a derelict and unused area of land at St Gluvias in Penryn, nr Falmouth. As well as the complete design and management of the Community Development Project, tasks included creating bespoke areas for sensory and healing plants for herbalism, and pave the way for a community apothecary utilising raised beds and other features. Wheelchair friendly access and pathways were designed, and each member of the Reach course played their own individual part in facilitating these goals.
The course, which ran daily from 6th-17th June, saw a group of individuals referred to Rebuild South West come together to learn new skills, test their own boundaries, and gain a sense of confidence and achievement.
